Ripped off by Camera Giants, which is now out of business according to its website? No worries. The same guys operate a number of other sites.
Jersey Shore Digital, 1WayPhoto, 86th Street Video & Photo, WiseTronics and Camera Giants are all run by the same person.
Per my prior post about JerseyShoreDigital.com, whoever created the Jersey Shore Digital website was sloppy, and forgot to remove a reference to 1WayPhoto.com.
86th Street Photo and Video currently has the following fake testimonial from “Antonio H.”:
“86th Street Video & Photo is a great and honest camera shop. They sent me everything that they said they would. I would definitly shop here again.
Antonio H.”
And so did Jersey Shore Digital, before they removed it:
JerseyShoreDigital.Com is a great and honest camera shop. They sent me everything that they said they would. I would definitly shop here again.
- Antonio H,
Even the typo is the same. Camera Giants had the exact same website as 86th Street Photo and Video, per proof here.
Here are the reviews of 86th Street Photo and Video, which also goes by the name 86th Street Video and Photo, apparently in an effort to elude Google searches.
You can find contact information for the guy that run this various websites on the New York Better Business Bureau’s site (LINK HERE). His name is Shlomi Albaydadi. His address is 2845 86th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11223. According to the BBB, he operates the following:
WiseTronics.com (Horrible resellerratingsreport can be viewed here.)
86th Street Photo & Video
Camera Giants Inc.
My Wireless Deal
Wise Tronics
Y.E.S. International
Here’s what will happen when you attempt to buy an item from any of the sites listed in this post:
According to complaints filed with the BBB, WiseTronics employs bait and switch sales tactics in order to sell more merchandise. After placing an order on-line, consumers receive an e-mail instructing them to call the company to "confirm" their order. Once on the phone, sales representatives try to sell consumers extra batteries, accessories, and warranties, some of which are included with the camera. When consumers decline, their order is cancelled or they are told that their item is not in stock.
Here’s an article on Ripoffreport.com. Read a customer complaint here and another warning here. Here’s a picture of Shlomi’s storefront WHERE YOU CAN SERVE THEM WITH A LAWSUIT.
If you have been ripped off by any of these sites, here’s your chance to go after Shlomi. Contact the State of New York’s attorney general’s office, as well as your State’s AG. Contact the Department of Justice. Contact Google. Don’t just complain on this blog, do something. Eventually Shlomi will be stopped.

Thank you for these posts! I was very close to placing an order, but thought something was up when I saw that they had the camera body alone for a higher price than the body+lens. I also noticed that memory cards were exceedingly expensive. I tried to call the 800 number and never got anyone on the phone.
Thank you for your very alarming information. We need people like you to save unsuspecting web shoppers from falling victim to predators like Jersey Shore Digital store and its DBA companies. I came too close to placing an order but the their price quotes seem too good to be true.
I actually just heard about what you do with internet companies and I respect that.. please do me a favor, I worked for this company for a few years.. The owner screwed me out of a lot of money. You can help me get back at them and I can give you a book to write about this company. They got by you because they are sneaky.. I helped in the sneaky division so I can feed you some real good juicy info..
Thanks
I purchased a Nikon D-90 from Camera Giants in May 09. It did not come with any registration materials so I called Nikon USA. They told me the serial number I gave them was registered to a Nikon 50-105mm lens. I called Camera Giants o inform them and they called me a liar.
I immediately filed a complaint wth the NY Att. Gen. Office who opened a case with the Internet Fraud Div. as I live in CA. I have heard nothing since.
ps. The camera no longer works and I have no avenue for repair.
I wrote the F.B.I. regardig Camera Gians ni May of 2009, I hope they looked itno their so called camera operation.Everything that Dave had said would happen happened, exce[t strangely they didn't bait and switch nor did they pressure me But they cancelled my order right on schedule. The Feds got a full briefing.
