Bait and Switch Scam: saveritephoto.com aka Save Rite Photo

A new website showing up on Bing and Nextag results is Saveritephoto.com.  Their website doesn’t provide an address.  This website links them to Supreme Camera.  I agree.  They were sloppy when they built their website, per this site search done on Google:

These guys monitor my site, so they’ll fix this mistake immediately, but be warned:  these guys run a scam.  Read the reviews here.  They have a six month rating of ZERO OUT OF TEN.  You've been warned.

Perfect. I wish I'd have read your post on the 11th before I ordered from them. The nearly $600 of up-sell items I agreed to are junk. I've contacted them for an RA number to return some of these things, but am guessing I'll be running it through the NY state's Attorney General's office. Already have their form downloaded. Ugh...

Thanks after reading all the reviews I was able to make the right choice and buy my camera somewhere else. Thank all of you for taking the time to comment and save others from using this company.

It is also unsettling to realize that NexTag, PriceGrabber, et al. assist in promoting disreputable companies.

Oh my. This has got to be the ABSOLUTE rudest sales rep I have ever dealt with. The addt'l charge of $199 for a battery and $299 for a charger is ridiculous. And the worst part is that you can't make a purchase without those items. Then when I questioned why this battery was so much more than other places he say "let me show u how to play baseball ma'am....u ready....1..2..3..catch". And that's when he slammed the phone down. RUN!!!!!! He's a jerk and this company is by far a scam.

Thanks so much for warning people about Save Rite Photo. I was shopping for a Nikon D90 body, and thought that the price on their site was too good to be true (under $400), so I decided to check them out and was glad that I did. If it sounds too good to be true then it usually is. I'm going to order from Amazon.

For my birthday I ordered two camera's from Save Rite Photo. A Canon kit with accessories. A Nikon kit with accessories. Paid by Visia in full on 8-12-2011. Got a call from a guy almost complaining that these brandnew camera's did not come with a battery. It was close to $700.00 and they want an additional $440.00 for the two batterys and two charges. I told them I sent all the money that I had had to my name. Then they backordered my cameas. I did not ask them to back order anything. Anyway my two camera kits never came to me, yet. I advised them that I want my money back. Have not heard from them.

Just called to ask questions about the camera I was considering buying and the guy hung up on me when I asked about the "import model" note at the bottom of the spec page. He said this model has no warranty, and when I asked where they're made, hung up, as if he knew I was getting suspicious.
