Nextag: Bogus Results

I've given Nextag the benefit of the doubt in the past, but I'm done.  They have the Nikon D90 listed with the "best value!" from bait and switch website 24hrdigital.com.  Come on Nextag, do some vetting of your merchants.  You are exposing your users, who trust your site, to bait and switch tactics by some nefarious individuals.  Not the best way to build loyalty.

I agree to this point. Many user trust nexttag blindly & landing into issues by trusting such goofy sites showing attractive deals. I was watching nexttag since few months to see if they take some action & remove such listings from their site. Bad to my disappointment, it still list them on their site.

I totally agree .I couldn't believe at first that NexTag would list those scam websites in their list. If you order online and then call them for order confirmation the prices changes they are higher than a legitimate website. Will never trust nextag again!!!!

Thanks to your site I've avoided sites that says "Best Value" which turned to be bunch of scammers.

"After exchanging email with digital hunter. They agreed to do the refund $200. With an agreement of changing my review from one star to 5 stars L . A review is given with all total honesty from a buyer and not being compromise. As of now, with all honesty I can only give u 3 stars. Once I receive the lens on time and got to see the refund on my bank account. Without any hesitation I will give 5-10 star whatever the digital hunter wants me to rate.

I’m sorry but I want to let everybody know what’s going on and learned from my experience. I wish I have five star experience like any other buyer you have . For now, 3 star because everything is pending. Promise is a promise. I hope you won’t let me down.

Just placed my order today and I'm hoping that I can cancel my order tomorrow.I'm determined to order the canon 24-105mm which I'm surprised of the price $739 and ordered canon D10 for $199. Wow! What a price. Cost me $972. So happy coz finally after a year of saving money I got new lens. Until I received a call from a guy telling me that the one that I ordered is made of plastic...plastic canon 24-105mm. And never heard of canon Luxury lens made of plastic. Asked me what DLSR I'm using so I told him that it's 50D. He said a lot of negative comments that it can't get nice picture and offered me a canon 18-135mm. During our discussion I'm hesitant to say yes and asked him to cancel my order. He told
me that for me to get a nicer sharp picture I will have order the canon 24-105mm metal mount lens which cost $1299 and gave me a $100 less. Comes out $1,199 still bit expensive compare to samy's,adorama,b&h. Made a price comparison. right after I received confirm email receipt from him. And my canon d10 from $199 to $329(battery& Sd card). What made me sad and stressed me out is that the shipping cost is $111 and it's not even overnight shipment that be receiving Tuesday of next week august 9,2011. Without my knowledge he included $80 for insurance. My order went up from $972to $1,726. Which is way beyond my budget. If only I listened to my husband wont be happened. The price that im paying too much esp the shipping and handling. If only I ordered at Samy's or B&H I should have save $200. Digital hunter you rip off our hard earned money.I just want to share my experience.Digital hunter is Liar about the plastic canon...It's alright with me to pay that amount if they have been honest. It's a hard earned money and I don't wanna be cheated. I hope there willbe no other victim. I hope tomorrow morning I can cancel my order. Stay away from them. Buy most reputable online store."
